Frankfurt am Main, Germany – The world’s leading trade fair for the automotive aftermarket, Automechanika Frankfurt, will take place from 8–12 September 2026 at Messe Frankfurt. The biennial event is expected to host over 4,000 exhibitors from more than 80 countries and attract more than 100,000 visitors from over 170 nations.
This year’s edition focuses on the key trends reshaping the industry: e-mobility, digitalisation, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and connectivity. Major players including Bosch, Continental, ZF, Schaeffler, Mahle, Hella, and Valeo have confirmed their participation.
New highlights include the HighTech4Mobility Forum on Software Defined Vehicles, the AMBITION youth talent initiative, the Automechanika Pitlane motorsport experience, and an expanded Classic Car Programme in partnership with FIVA. The outdoor Experience Park and Future Mobility Park will offer test drives and off-road adventures.
Messe Frankfurt has also formed a new strategic partnership with the VDIK (Association of International Motor Vehicle Manufacturers) and renewed its cooperation with Frost & Sullivan, which forecasts 5.8% global aftermarket growth in 2026.
